IREP Education

Whether your child is thriving or struggling, we are here to help!

The IREP Tutor Difference

The typical tutoring is reactive, passive and typically by the hour.   A tutor would be there to answer questions and to help the student in his/her assignments.   The process is reactive and passive.   The tutor is merely responding to the student’s questions of the day (so to speak).

At iREP Tutor, we take a holistic and proactive approach towards tutoring.   We tutor you for the entire course based on a pre-determined number of hours (typically 50 hours for a standard course).   Our tutor will map out the topics to be covered over the 50 hours. It is like teaching the course on a one-on-one basis to give you the maximum personal attention. More time can be spent on areas/topics that you have problem in.   The benefit is to assist you to understand the materials and to pass the course – more effectively and in shorter time.

Our iREP Tutor Services

The iREP Tutor service is an integral part of our overall service of iREP Academic Counseling.   Our larger objective is to help you to succeed in your academic pursuits.   This includes helping you to plan out the courses that you should take in order to better prepare yourself for university studies (including providing tutoring based on proactive teaching).   Once your Academic Plan is in place, we can also help you in college applications (from identifying the colleges to apply up to making final decision on a college).

Accordingly, we provide tutoring on all subjects that would help you in realizing your academic goals.

This could mean helping you in

a)

Getting through the ESL/ELL barrier so that you can transition into the regular HS program.

b)

Preparing for TOEFL or IELTS.

c)

Studying for PSAT, SAT or ACT

d)

Taking HS courses online, etc.

If you wish to obtain a US High School Diploma while taking your HS program in Canada, we provide target tutoring to specifically prepare you to pass these US HS courses.
